My name is April McPhaul, I am a Wife to my Big Mac, Mother to my Josiah, Educator to my students, Encourager hopefully to all, and I am immensely in love with Jesus! I love to volunteer in various capacities with Children Ministries, Advocate from Children, Homeschooling Cooperative Leader, volunteer at the Botanical Gardens and any other opportunities where I see a need. I absolutely love everything that I get to be a part of but one of my greatest JOYs comes from being a Co-facilitator of JOY Ministries and sharing practical and spiritual tips of how to live a JOYous life despite challenging times.
My hobbies are reading, (I keep a book with me wherever I go) finding random places to explore in various downtowns, road trips especially to the beach, and impromptu lunch date with a friend! You may also find me at Chick-fil-A dipping my waffle fry in some Polynesian sauce, if you do come over and say Hello!
Nicole Fitzpatrick’s life is a testament to finding joy in every season. She is a devoted wife to her husband, Terry, and a mother to four wonderful children. After choosing to leave a 15-year career to become a homemaker, she discovered a deeper sense of purpose and joy in nurturing her family.
Nicole's passions range from the technical to the tranquil; she's a 'tech girl' at heart who loves mastering new gadgets, and she finds immense pleasure in observing the birds on her family's property. As they embark on the rewarding journey of building a new house, she is embracing every lesson learned. Late at night, when everyone in her house is asleep, Nicole enjoys listening to Amish audiobook stories to help calm her ADHD mind before bed. Through Joy Ministries, Nicole channels her life experiences into a single purpose: helping people welcome more of God's true joy into their lives.
