The other week Miss Autumn decided to appear and it has been wonderful enJOYing the cooler mornings and seeing the beautiful leaves change colors and gently fall to the ground. At times it can be so mesmerizing to just sit on the porch, deck,  or take a walk on a nature trail and take in all of Autum’s beauty.

One morning recently I woke up and the clouds were gray and had an overcast to them, instead of the bright blue sky and beaming sun that had been used to seeing. I figured that maybe in a few hours the overcast would past but it didn’t. I then decided to check my Weather App to see what the official forecast was for that day and I chuckled when I read that at 3:00 p.m. the sun would come out. I thought to myself technology is so precise that it can tell me the exact time the overcast will part and the sun will shine.

I went on with my day and as I was driving up an hill I saw the sun starting to break through and when I glanced at the clock it said 2:59.

Wouldn’t it be nice that when you were facing dark times or times of “overcast” in your life you could look in an App and it would tell you the exact time the clouds will pass and the sun will peek out. Unfortunately we don’t have an App like that, at least not that I’m aware of-lol! Although we don’t have an App we still do have a Guide that will help us navigate through life’s uncertain and difficult times. As I typed this blog right now I’m reflecting on several situations in my life that brought an overcast to my mind and life but with God, time and an Amazing support system the overcast parted and the sun bright beams started shining again!
I may not know what you are going through or even why you are going through it. Honestly life can just be hard at times but I do know that you will be able to navigate through it with JOY and Peace.
