Waiting

Oh the waiting... With the world we live in, waiting can be very hard. We can get answers to just about everything with just a few clicks on our phone or laptop. No one has to wait for anything. Not feeling yourself? No worries. Dr Google is there to help.

Now, not all situations are as super serious, but waiting on God still is a must. It could be just a move or buying a new car. If we move to the wrong place or don't use godly wisdom when buying a car, it can cause more heartache down the road.

Yes, buying a car isn't always a spiritual thing. But, there are times when you have gone through trials and other situations, but no matter what, you have followed after God. At times, life brings you heartache and grief, but that's when we still look to God for our strength. That's when God looks at you and trusts you to follow after Him.

God sees your faithfulness and wants to bless you. This is true for April. God saw her and her husband's faithfulness and wanted to bless them. He gave them wisdom when wanting to buy a new vehicle. They saved up and started looking for the right vehicle.

April wanted a certain vehicle and a certain color. Now, having a certain car with a certain color might not be a big thing, but we all have dreams, right? And God wanted to fulfill that dream of hers.

They had looked for this vehicle, the Kia Telluride. She wanted a blue Telluride with a red interior. They looked and found a blue one, but it didn't have a red interior. April thought it would be silly to make a big deal about the color, and she was going to settle. But God said to wait and not settle. So, she waited. That's when God led her and her husband to the car she wanted. A blue Kia Telluride with mahogany leather seats. PLUS all the bells and whistles to go with it. Her JOYride!! Oh yeah and the BEST part is she paid Cash for it, no loan/no debt!!

Waiting on God might not always be easy, but it is always right. He will never lead you the wrong way.

What are you waiting on God for?

It might not be about a car or house/land but could be a life-changing decision. When we are faced with decisions, we must always wait on God to lead us in His ways. Not our ways.

When waiting on God, here are three practical steps to apply:

1. Trust in God's timing and guidance.

2. Seek God's direction and follow it faithfully.

3. Be patient while waiting on God.

Isaiah 40:31

“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (ESV)
